THE POODLES: Interview, Pro-Shot Performance Footage From Ludwigsburg Available

January 6, 2010

Swedish hard rockers THE POODLES were interviewed for the December 2009 show from TVRoxx, a new Germany-based Internet TV station for hard rock and heavy metal. The footage, which was shot on November 4, 2009 when the band played in Ludwigsburg, Germany, can be viewed at this location. THE POODLES were forced to cancel a number of shows on their European headlining tour in November after singer Jakob Samuel became "very sick."

THE POODLES' third album, "Clash Of The Elements", was released in Europe on August 28, 2009 via Blistering Records.

The CD entered the official chart in the band's home country at position No. 5.

The group, which in 2008 parted ways with record label Lionheart International after a three-year partnership, once again worked with producer Mats Valentin.

THE POODLES in 2008 recruited guitarist Henrik Bergqvist (SOUTHFORK, TIAMAT) to replace Pontus Norgren, who left the group to join HAMMERFALL. The new axeman made his live debut with THE POODLES in June 2008 at the Sweden Rock Festival in Sölvesborg, Sweden.
